Delete your account

You can delete your Shan Gyi VPN account and its data at any time.

In the app

Open Account → Profile → Delete account and confirm twice. The account is deleted straight away, you are signed out, and the VPN on that phone disconnects.

Without the app

Email support@shangyivpn.com from the email address you use for Shan Gyi VPN, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we delete the account within 30 days of confirming it.

What is deleted

• Your account: email address, display name and account ID.
• Your plan and its history.
• Your device records and the VPN credentials issued to them, so those devices can no longer connect.

What may remain

Copies in our providers’ backups can remain for a limited period until those backups are overwritten. Emails you sent to support stay in our mailbox unless you ask us to delete them too.
